Reinhart, Carol J. (Marriage - 11 November 1972)
Carol J. Reinhart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Engel of Spencer, became the
bride of Harley J. Nelson in a candlelight ceremony performed Saturday evening,
November 11, at the Free Methodist Church in Loyal. The Rev. Frank Mutchler
officiated at the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at the Village
Plaza in Spencer.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore an Empire-style gown
fashioned with a fitted bodice of powder blue chiffon trimmed with matching
venise lace topping a royal blue velvet A-line skirt. Her tiered veil was
secured to a powder blue head piece of venise lace. She carried an arrangement
of blue carnations and white mums.
Mrs. Eugene Landwehr of Spencer, matron of honor, and bridesmaids Mrs. Harvey
Sischo, Sheboygan, and Mrs. Roger Engel, Marshfield, were attired in gowns of
royal blue velvet styled with long sleeves ending in three tiered, ruffled ecru
lace flouncing. Each carried a single, white mum.
The groom was attended by Eugene Landwehr as bestman and Harvey Sischo and Roger
Engel as groomsmen. Ushers were Gene Loomis of Marshfield and Roger Kilty of
Unity.
Soloist Sharon Horn was accompanied by Dona Balciar at the organ.
The new Mrs. Nelson is a graduate of Spencer High School and her husband is a
graduate of Wisconsin Dells schools. Both are employed in Spencer. They will
live in Marshfield.
