Humbird (7 December 1972)
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Losey of Fairchild were Sunday afternoon and evening guests
at the Henry Laffe home.
Mrs. Mary Reider of Rockford, Ill., spent from last Wednesday until Sunday with
her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. John Greub while her son was deer hunting.
Mr and Mrs. Mel Markham called on Mrs. Kate Dignin Sunday afternoon.
The Bazaar and Lunch sale Saturday was a success even though the roads were
slippery.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Staffon of Monroe visited relatives in Black River Falls last
Friday and were overnight guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. John Greub.
Mrs. Geneva Fitzmaurice, Mrs. Kate Dignin, Mrs. Maude Newton, Mrs. Helen Pickett
and Mrs. Laura Dignin attended the Bazaar in Fairchild held by the W.S.C.S.
Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Williams and Mrs. Freda Barr visited in Fairchild Sunday
night and attended the Fairchild Methodist Advent service.
Mrs. Laura Dignin spent several days last week with her grandson, Jim Blom and
family at Price.
Mrs. Beatrice Stuve planned to leave for Villa Park, Calif., Tuesday to spend
some time with her daughter, Mrs. Connie Rajcic.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson and Dawn spent Sunday afternoon with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Oscar Johnson, in Taylor.
Henry Spielman of St. Croix Falls was a weekend guest at the Archie Kirby home.
Thanksgiving Day guests at the William Theiler home were Mr. and Mrs. Fricky
Theiler and children, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Polege and Mrs. Millie Trachsel.
Mr. and Mrs. Rolla Sieg of Fairchild entertained at dinner Sunday Mr. and Mrs.
Bernard Sieg, Jill and Jeff, and Mrs. Laura Dignin.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Greub and children of River Falls were Thanksgiving Day
guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Greub.
