Paul, Eber M. (7 JAN 1874 - 4 JUL 1950)
Eber M. Paul, son of Les Pahl and Jennie (Sweet) Paul, was born Jan. 7, 1874 at
Plainview, Minn., and passed away from a heart attack while visiting at the E.T.
Opdycke home on Tuesday, July 4th, 1950. Mr. Paul has been in ill health for the
past few months.
On Nov. 18, 1903 he was united in marriage to Eva Wilcox at Wabasha, Minn. Mr.
and Mrs. Paul have lived here (Greenwood, Clark Co., Wis.) for many years.
Funeral services will be held at the Stabnow Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
The Rev. Lee Holmes, pastor of the Methodist Church, will officiate, and the
body will be taken to Kellogg, Minn. for burial. A service will be held in the
cemetery there at 2:00 p.m.
During the service Mrs. Chal Perkins and Miss Evangeline Sheets sang "The Old
Rugged Cross" and "Rock of Ages," accompanied by Chas. Ivey.
He is survived by his wife and a sister, Mrs. Harry Cross in Michigan. He was
preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Eunice, and a son, Ralph, and two
brothers.
