Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Wessel and family were Sunday dinner guests at the home of
Mrs. Louise Horn.
Mrs. Alma Mason entertained cards at her house Friday evening. Lunch was served.
Mrs. Mary Ann Buker will entertained members of the Birthday Club at a 6:30
dinner at the Luther Café on Monday, April 10th, followed by bridge, at her
home.
Dr. and Mrs. R.L. Barnes entertained at dinner Saturday evening in honor of
their daughter Joan's 17th birthday anniversary. Those present were Mr. and Mrs.
Perry Volk, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Hoesly and son Michael, Sparta, and Mrs.
Ann Volk.
Friends of Miss Joyce Stoneburg held a shower on Thursday and Friday evenings at
the Charles Ludwig home. Joyce received many lovely gifts. Lunch was served.
Mr. Charles Markee, who birthday was Sunday, April 2nd, was honored at a
birthday dinner at the home of his son, Clarence Markee of the Town of Warner.
Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Pederstune and family of Menomonie; Mr. and Mrs.
Wm. Franz and family of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. John Kadune of Dorchester; Miss
Violet Otto of Kewaskum; Delbert Busch, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Markee,
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Markee and daughter of Greenwood. Mr. Markee received many
useful presents and a good time and bountiful dinner was had by all.
