Mr. and Mrs. Duane Sessions and family of Marathon spent last Sunday at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pozega, Sr., and family.
Donald Kirn and Kelly, Richard Noah and Sheila Susa attended the packers-Vikings
game at Bloomington, Minn., last Sunday.
Ten tables were played at the card party last Sunday at the parish center.
Prizes were awarded to Vic Halbrader, Mrs. Tony Gosar and at each table. A lunch
was served. Val Krainz was on the committee. More card parties will be held in
January.
Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Craig attended the pre-sale dinner at Bali Hai for the
Distinction Farm last Saturday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Dunn and family of Eau Claire were guests Sunday of Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Debevec and also attended the anniversary party of Mr. and Mrs.
Robert Debevec.
Mr. and Mrs. George Miller of Milwaukee are spending a week with her mother,
Mrs. Theresa Parkel.
Monday morning the temperature dropped to 17 below zero in our neighborhood and
in the daytime it was from five to seven degrees above zero. Rather cold for
this time of year.
The Slovenian Women’s Union, Branch No. 192, held the annual Christmas Party at
the parish center last Thursday night. There was a potluck lunch and exchange of
gifts. Quiet a large crowd attended.
Robert Kulpa of Chicago, Ill., was at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Debevec
for their anniversary party.
Mrs. Joseph Kadlec and children and Mrs. Rudy Bright, all of St. Paul, Minn.,
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Schmidt and children of Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. John
Scharenbrock were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Jordan.
