Bober, Eva J. (4 September 1888 - 8 December 1972)

A resident of Granton since 1970, Mrs. Eva J. Bober, 84, died December 8 at her home. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Gilbertson Funeral Home with the Rev. Melvin Nickel of the United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was made in the Windfall Cemetery.

Mrs. Bober, the former Eva Falkenthal, was born September 4, 1888, in Chicago, Ill., and lived at Eagle and at Millburn, Ill., before moving to Granton. Her marriage to Hans Bober took place October 13, 1915, in Chicago. Mr. Bober preceded his wife in death.

Surviving are two sons, Raymond Bober of Granton and Walter Bober of Soldiers Grove; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ray Keuer, Manford Cain, Emil Tykac, Edward Kleinschmidt, John Hammond and Max Opelt.
