A blessing service was held for Donald James Hoffmann, the day old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hoffmann of Abbotsford, Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford. The Rev. Ambrose Blenker of St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby, officiated and Interment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.

Donald James was born prematurely Sunday night, Oct. 16, at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, and weighed two pounds 11 ounces. He died at 7:15 p.m. Monday.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Tammy Lynn. The maternal grand parents are Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kopp of Curtiss. The paternal grand parents are Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Hoffmann, rural Colby, and the paternal great grand parents are Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Bargenquast, Abbotsford.
