The "Unborn Child" at the Opera House Wednesday evening, Nov. 24. Get your seats
early.
Mrs. Ed Richards is visiting relatives and friends at Granton.
Mrs. A.C. Buker and son spent the forepart of the week with relatives and
friends at Loyal.
Leonard Menigoz went to Kennan, Wis., where he is making cheese for the
Independent Cheese Co.
Three parties arrived here from Russia last Saturday. One was a sister of Jos.
Mikottis. They had been on their journey for over a month.
Fred Speich of Pittsville spent the first of the week here with relatives and
friends.
Jay Cronin, who has been working in the west during the summer, returned to this
city Thursday.
Will Rosenau of Milwaukee spent the forepart of the week here with friends.
Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Bartholomew left for Boulder, Mont Tuesday, where they will
make their future home.
Mrs. H.A. Wescott was taken to the Chippewa Falls Hospital last Thursday, where
on Saturday she underwent an operation for stomach trouble. She is reported as
getting along nicely.
Mr. and Mrs. C. Aegerter came from Hillsboro Monday for a visit at the home of
their son, Lind Aegerter.
The German Ladies Society of the West Side will meet with Mrs. Albert Liebzeit
on Wednesday, Dec. 1st.
Last Saturday frank Zetsche, E.N. Paul and Wm. Neuenfeldt each received a large
salmon from Dan Cook, who is in the state of Washington. The fish were certainly
dandies and Dan has the thanks of every one of us for his remembrance.
Preaching service at the Baptist Church next Sunday evening, Nov. 28th.
The Kings Daughters will meet with Mrs. John Stanton, Wednesday, Dec. 1st, and
have an apron sale and lunch. Be sure to come.
Miss Velma Goss, who teaches at Willard, was in the city Saturday on her way to
Vesper, where she spent Sunday with home folks.
Double Header. Neillsville vs. Greenwood at the high school gym before the show,
Wednesday night, Nov. 24th.
The Wesley Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. Geo. Haeffner on Thursday, Dec. 2nd
for dinner. Everybody is welcome.
Mrs. Talford Bea came up from Stevens Point Saturday for a visit with friends.
Mrs. Ralph Weidman and daughter of Prairie du Sac is visiting at the home of her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hogue.
