Worden, Wesley W. (29 September 1898 - 20 December 1972)

Wesley W. Worden, 74, died at his home December 20 of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Worden was born September 29, 1898, in Adams County. His first marriage was to Neva Sinclair on November 5, 1920, at Loyal. They celebrated their golden wedding in September, 1970. She died September 21, 1971. His second marriage to Vera Hunerjager took place on October 15, 1972. She survives him.

Mr. Worden moved to Greenwood in 1921 and in 1929 to the present home five miles northeast of Greenwood.

Besides his wife he is survived by three sons, Kenneth of Owen, Robert of Greenwood and the Rev. Warren Worden of Oconto ; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Earl Worden of Greenwood; and two sisters, Mrs. Glen (Maude) Van Wei of Milwaukee and Mrs. Peter (Alice) Turco of Zion, Ill.

Funeral services were held December 24 from the Alliance Church in Owen. The Rev. Lester Kringle officiated and burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
