Kostka, Victor A. (1 September 1887 - 17 December 1972)

Funeral services for Victor A. Kostka, 85, of Hatfield, who died December 17 at Black River Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for one day, were held December 21 from Langlois -Galston Funeral Home in Black River Falls. The Rev. T. A. Rykken officiated and burial was in the Hatfield Cemetery. Merrillan Masonic Lodge No. 279 conducted Masonic rites at the funeral home Wednesday evening.

Mr. Kostka was born September 1, 1887, in Czechoslovakia. He worked in Chicago for many years as a tool and die maker. Upon his retirement in 1948, he and his wife moved to Hatfield where they have made their home since that time.

He is survived by his wife, Stephie; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Mosalik, also of Hatfield; a son, Victor Kostka of Boulder, Colo.; two sisters in Czechoslovakia; and three grandchildren.
