Mills, Henrietta (6 September 1915 - 29 December 1972)
Funeral services are to be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock from
Immanuel Lutheran Church, Globe, for Mrs. Lee (Henrietta) Mills, 57, of Rt. 3
Neillsville, who died December 29 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. The
Rev. Robert Bitter is to officiate and burial will be made in the church
cemetery. The Georgas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mills, the daughter of Herman and Hedwig (Klueckmann) Schoenherr, was born
September 6, 1915, in the Globe area and was educated there. Her marriage to Lee
Mills took place May 16, 1936, at Globe. The couple farmed in the Town of
Weston. Mrs. Mills, who had been in failing health the last two years, was a
member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and of the Homemakers club.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her mother, Mrs. Hedwig
Schoenherr of Rt. 3 Neillsville; four children, Garry Mills of Minneapolis,
Minn., Mrs. Merlin (LaVonne) Gerber of Madison, Allen Mills of Beaverton, Mich.,
and Mrs. Richard (Sally) Miller of Hartland; three sisters, Lorraine Schoenherr
of Waukesha and Mrs. Harold (Vivian) Thoma and Mrs. George (Victoria) Thoma,
both of Neillsville; two brothers, Herman and Jerry Schoenherr, both of Muskego;
and six grandchildren.
