Eisberner, D’Ann Therese (Marriage - 30 December 1972)
Miss D’Ann Therese Eisberner and Joseph Andrew Kaufman, both of Humbird,
exchanged wedding vows December 30 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Fairview.
The Rev. Patrick Hollern of Cashton, cousin of the groom, officiated at the
double-ring ceremony performed before 200 guests. A reception in the church hall
followed. A wedding dance was held at the Fairchild Rod and Gun club.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Eisberner, Humbird, and Mr. and
Mrs. Lawrence Kaufman, Fairchild. The bride’s father presented her in marriage.
The new Mrs. Kaufman chose a floor-length bridal gown of gleaming sata-peau.
Soft ruffles of Val lace accented the cavalier-shaped sleeves, the neckline and
the deep ruffle at the hemline of the slightly gathered skirt. A cummerbund
complimented the waistline. Her bouffant veil of sheer bridal illusion secured a
Juliet cap accented with re-embroidered lace. She carried a bouquet of red roses
and white mums.
Kathleen June was the bride’s honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Mary Jane Larson
and Sarah Eisberner. Their Victorian gowns of beige jersey were accented with a
bright floral design and complimented by arrangements of aqua-tipped football
mums with aqua streamers.
Kevin Szydel served as bestman. Groomsmen were James Martin and Kenneth Kaufman.
Marcus Eisberner, brother of the bride, and Dennis Kaufman, brother of the
groom, were ushers.
Kathy Michels, Alma Center, was the organist.
The bride is a senior at Lincoln High School, Alma Center. The groom graduated
from the Osseo-Fairchild High School in 1969 and is a railway employee. The
couple will live on Rt. 1 Humbird.
