Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Adams rode snowmobile Sunday from Greenwood to Neillsville
where they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Larry Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon
Sharratt for an all-day ride. Later, they all enjoyed an evening meal at the
Sharratt home.
Mrs. Mary Klune and Pete McCammant visited Irene Schiller the Monday after
Christmas at the St. Joseph’s Hospital where she was taken by ambulance after
suffering a stroke.
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Schiller of Elkhorn visited with Pete McCammant and Mary Klune
Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Howard returned Thursday noon from Houston, Tex., where they
spent the holidays with their son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Dawayne Howard
and two children.
Sgt and Dennis Ryan, who spent approximately a week at the home of her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Edison Mathis planned to return to Omaha, Nebr., Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bell and daughters were supper gests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs.
Kermit Bell on the occasion of Mr. Bell’s 69th birthday. His granddaughter,
Barbara, baked a birthday cake.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Hoessel of Madison spent two days at the home of their
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George M. May. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Nelson of Madison
visited at the May home on Sunday.
Mrs. Lena Zimmerman returned to her home in Ripon Tuesday after spending the
holidays with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Kieser and
family.
Weekend visitors at the Hugh Howard home were their children and families, Mr.
and Mrs. Al Neumann and Chad of Wauwatosa, Mr. and Mrs. John Mazola and family
of Milwaukee and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Howard and Todd of Thorp. Mrs. Howard’s
father, Richard Hagedorn, also spent some time with them during the weekend, and
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Fitzmaurice called at their home Friday evening. Sunday
evening, the Howards and their son-in-law, Al Neumann, who is staying with them
working in the area, visited at the Carl Hoffmann home.
