The cheese that Al Susa sent to Milwaukee scored 93. Pretty good for the short
time he has been making cheese. We kind of thought he'd need a bigger hat by
this time, but he says by the next convention it will take an iron band to keep
his hat on. You'll have to get up in the morning to get the start of Susa.
Mrs. S.B. Flagg spent Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Palzer, in West Eaton.
Evan Hatton spent Sunday with friend at Neillsville.
Albert Susa and Liddie McCammant called at F. Hatton's Saturday evening.
Henry Martenson of Frita, S.D. is here on a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Siger Martenson.
F. Hatton helped Ed Keefe with butchering Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Keefe called at C. Hatton's Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. John Susa Sr. entertained a few of their neighbors and friends to
an oyster supper Sunday evening in honor of their son Paul's 21st birthday. A
very pleasant evening was spent with music and games.
Chas. Bostwick left for Hamburg, Wis. Monday with his big team. He expects to
haul logs for Buker & Rossman.
Paul Wepner and F. Hatton attended the school board convention at Neillsville
Tuesday.
