Stabnow, Luella A. (8 JUN 1921)
A pretty and solemn wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. August
Stabnow, when their daughter, Luella Amelia, was united in the holy bonds of
wedlock to Mr. Vern Severson. The parlor was decorated with white roses. The
bride wore white silk georgette and wool and carried white roses, and was
attended by Miss Hazel Leighton of Michigan. The groom wore a navy blue suit.
Leroy Stabnow, brother of the bride, acted as best man. Rev. Art Perkins of
Spencer tied the knot. Only close relatives, Mrs. Perkins, Miss Leighton and
Mamie Haupt witnessed the ceremony. Immediately after the wedding dinner, a
carload drove to Owen to attend the Sunday School Convention.
