Peterson, Roberta "Bobbie" J. (Tjomsland) (24 MAY 1946 - 24 AUG 2014)

Roberta "Bobbie" J. Peterson, age 68, of Westboro, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014 at her home, under the tender care of hospice.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Abbotsford is entrusted with arrangements.

Bobbie was born on May 24, 1946, the daughter of Marvin and Evelyn (Langseth) Tjomsland, in Richfield, Minn. She graduated with an associate degree from Winona State and a degree in dental hygiene from Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minn.

Bobbie enjoyed horses and was a member of several miniature horse clubs. She also volunteered at Rib Lake Elementary School, helping students with reading.

Bobbie is survived by her husband, Mark of Westboro; her grandson, Brent Sommer of Ogema; and her sister, Carolyn (Jim) Daly of Grass Valley, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Quinn Sommer.
