Sisson, Glenn E. (21 NOV 1931 - 13 JUL 2013)
Glenn E. Sisson passed away Saturday July 13,
2013, at the age of 81, at his home in Greenfield, WI. He was born on November
21st, 1931 at his home in Greenwood, WI to George Wallace and Erna (Yunker)
Sisson. Glenn grew up on his family farm in Greenwood WI. Early in life he
developed his love of traveling and motorcycles. He graduated from Greenwood
High School in Greenwood WI in 1950. After high school he married his 1st wife
Beverly (Quast). He was drafted in the Army in 1952 and served for 2 years.
After his honorable discharge from the army he attended MSOE in Milwaukee. He
owned and operated National Radio and TV in West Allis for over 25 years. He
retired in 1997 and traveled for 12 years in his motorhome with his wife Joanne
before settling in Greenfield, WI. Glenn married Joanne in 1982 in Milwaukee,
WI.
They were married for 31 years. Glenn enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his
children, traveling in his motorhome all across the country and playing cards
with family and friends.
Glenn was preceded in death by his father George
Wallace, his mother Erna and his grandson Arik J. Hett. Glenn is survived by his
spouse Joanne (Soiney) of Greenfield WI, his son Larry (Nancy) Sisson of Newport
VT, his daughter Linda (Tom) Hett of Pewaukee, WI , his son Lon Sisson of
Racine, WI; step-children Kim (Marty) Jenich of Madison, Jill Hurst of
Milwaukee, his brother William Sisson of Greenwood, WI,; grandchildren Sam,
Sarah, Tony, Liz, Becky, Will, Katie, and step-grandchildren Aaron, Ben, Eli,
Jordan, Graham ; great-granddaughter Molly and step-great grandchildren Caleb
and Harper; and other relatives and many friends.
The family will be greeting friends and relatives at the funeral home Saturday
July 27, 2013 11:00 until time of a Memorial Service at 12:30 PM.
