Mrs. George Crothers is visiting relatives at Oxford.
Jos. Cichochi and wife were here from Owen over Sunday.
John Klopf and wife were here from Sheboygan Tuesday.
Robt. Weeks went to Waupaca yesterday to visit his father.
Postmaster Huntley was at Wausau yesterday on business.
Mrs. F.W. Dangers went to Chicago Tuesday to join her husband.
Miss Helen Zimmer returned to her work at Camp Douglas Sunday.
Dr. Placido Hommel was home from Chicago a few days last week.
Mrs. C. Krumrey went to Milwaukee Tuesday night to spend a few days.
John Herrian came from Glendive, Mont., Monday for a visit with his father.
George Forbush returned Tuesday from Canada where he worked this summer.
Dr. Bradbury went to Madison Tuesday to attend a medical convention.
Miss Nellie Melamophy went to Eau Claire Monday to attend the funeral of her
aunt.
A boy named Davis lost part of his hand in a feed cutter Tuesday at Fisk Lee’s
farm near Granton.
Mrs. Will Wood came down from Owen Saturday and spent a few days here and
returned home Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Schiller went to Milwaukee Sunday night to consult a
specialist regarding Mr. Schiller’s eyes.
Misses Johanna and Celia Marx returned to Eau Claire Sunday after spending a few
days here with their parents.
Otto Handke and wife went to Snyder, Neb., Monday, having been called there by
the death of Mrs. Handke’s father.
T.D. Condit has sold his home to a sister of Dr. Bradbury and he will go to
Nebraska to spend the winter with his daughter.
Judge Marsh and wife of Eau Claire and John Marsh of Black River Falls are
guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Marsh.
Mrs. H.J. Brooks went to Milwaukee Tuesday night to attend Eastern Star grand
lodge and will also visit at Waukesha and other cities before returning home.
Mrs. P.E. Griffin joined her husband at Marshfield Tuesday and they went to
Milwaukee to spend a few days buying holiday goods for Mr. Griffin’s drug store
at Ladysmith.
Mrs. Sambough is very sick at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ezra Campbell. Mrs.
Wm. Ames of George, Iowa, and Mrs. John Peterson and baby of Osseo came Monday
to help care for her.
