Christie (5  Oct 1916)

Mrs. Bessie Sischo and daughter, Altah, of Greenwood visited ta the S.E. Morris home Saturday and Sunday.

Mrs. Della Armitage returned from a visit at Eau Claire and Cornell last Tuesday.

Wedding bells were ringing quite often last week. Wednesday Hattie Zickert became the bride of Will Roehl and Thursday, Sept. 21, May McKimm was quietly married to George Hexel. Best wishes to both young couples.

Louie Barton and wife, Will Hannah and wife and son, Ernest, and Miss Orah Phelps were among the number that autoed to Marshfield on Sunday to see the auto races.

Ellsworth West filled silo for R.B. and W.J. Armitage last Friday and Saturday.

Mart Lastofka has a crew of carpenters at work framing a barn.

Rev. George Crow and family of Granton were overnight visitors at the W.J. Armitage home last Tuesday.
