West Pine Valley (5  Oct 1916)

Miss Elsie Luchterhand had the misfortune to sprain her ankle Tuesday evening while on her way home. The horses became frightened by an auto and Miss Luchterhand jumped from the wagon. She was taken to the home of John Wieting and Dr. Bradbury was called. Her father took her home the next morning.

Alma and Lilly Karnitz visited with Lilly Dux Sunday afternoon.

Carl Bloche called on John Wieting Sunday afternoon.

Herman Hagen moved his family to his farm in town Weston, which he recently bought.

Carl Schuelke, Sr., and family of Grant called at the home of Herman Carl Sunday.

Carl Kessler, Sr., called on Frank Miller Sunday.

Mrs. Wm. Meihak was a caller at the home of Mrs. Aug. Dux Monday morning.
