Lynn (12 Oct 1916)
Mrs. Ward of Reedsburg visited at Albert Sternitzky’s a few days last week.
Miss Hazel Washburn was home over Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Washburn went to Millston Saturday in response to a message
announcing the serious illness of his mother. They returned home Sunday night.
Mrs. Frank Downing came with them.
Edna and Lulu Sternitzky visited their grandmother, Mrs. Davidson, at Chili
Sunday.
The J.H. Club met with Esther Grassman Saturday.
Max Opelt traded his store and all his property here for a 200-acre farm six
miles south or Neillsville. The trade was made with Mr. Keller.
Mr. Keller took possession of the store Saturday and Mr. Opelt is moving onto
the farm this week. They have always lived here and their many friends here
regret to see them leave.
Miss Frieda Williams is clerking in the store for Mr. Keller.
The Carnation Art Club met with Mrs. Charlie Helm Friday.
George Brooks returned from Dakota Saturday.
