Cannonville (19  Oct 1916)

Everyone is cordially invited to attend the box social and Halloween party given at the Cannonville School House Friday evening,  Oct. 20. Be sure and bring [?] and hot coffee will be served free.

Ira Davis, who is working at a creamery in Viroqua, spent the past week with the home folks.

The Ladies Aid Society meets with Mrs. Peter Hohenstein this week on Thursday.

Rev. Mallory will hold services in the Union Church Sunday evening,  Oct. 22nd.

The Kissling family entertained the following families Sunday evening for supper: Robert Kuhn, Mr. Lautenbach, Mr. Spiser of Lynn, Chris. Feutz, Will Feutz, John Vogeli and Louis Sholtz of Sherwood.

Ross Galbreath and wife autoed to City Point Sunday.

Mrs. Jack Hunter was badly burned on the chest with hot jelly.

Herbert Kauth was home one day last week, having his throat d Octored.

Ordie Marshall has purchased Mrs. Eschenberg’s farm.
