Chili (2 Nov 1916)
Mrs. Elschlepp and son of Phillips were Chili visitors last week.
Miss Margaret Kroll left Wednesday for Marshfield, where she has accepted a
position.
Al Snow shipped stock Monday.
A number from here attended the Retzlaff-Zias wedding east of Lynn.
A surprise party was held at the Anton Hogenson home Sunday evening in honor of
his birthday. A very sociable time was enjoyed by all and after midnight supper
all left for their respective homes, wishing Mr. Hogenson many more happy
birthdays.
Mrs. Otto Ramer was at Marshfield Tuesday evening visiting her sister, Mrs.
Andrew Hoffman.
Messrs Timmers and Lempke are up from Appleton and Kaukauna for a rabbit hunt.
Mr. and Mrs. Voelker are visiting at Marinette, where the latter’s father is
critically ill.
Monday Alvin Voelker, sister and brother left for Marinette to attend the
funeral of their grandfather.
