Schnabel, Pauline (27 AUG 1851 – 25 OCT 1916)

Mrs. Pauline Schnabel died on Oct. 25th after a brief illness, aged 65 years, one month and 28 days. She was born Pauline Miche in Germany in 1851, and was married to Ernest Schnabel on Nov. 15, 1874. They came to the United States about 35 years ago and lived for many years on their farm northwest of this city. Six children were born to them, and only two of them survive to mourn her demise. Mrs. Schnabel was a good woman, lived an industrious and good life and her death was a matter of keen regret to all her old friends and neighbors. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gus. Holtz, one son, Alfred, and three grandchildren. The funeral was held on Saturday and interment was made in the Neillsville Cemetery.
