Christie (2 Nov 1916)
Alvin Vincent of York is working for Will Hurlburt.
Friday while Dave Snyder was helping move some timbers on the floor in M.
Lastofka’s barn, he slipped and fell through to the basement floor, hurting his
back and shoulders. At present writing he is not able to sit up, but seems to be
on the mend.
Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Armitage and son, Dale, visited at George Shummel’s in
Neillsville Sunday.
The Catholic ladies gave a dance and supper at the Christie hall Friday evening.
A large crowd attended and all report a good time.
Mrs. Anna Armitage and Mrs. Rose Broker drove to Spokeville Saturday to visit at
the home of Nelson.
