Mrs. Anna Dyre and children are spending a week at Ashland.

Mrs. C.J. Carter was a Marshfield visitor Tuesday.

Word was received here that a little 8 pound baby boy had made his arrival at the Roy Masters home Monday.

Fred Behrens went to Hayward Monday.

E.L. Dyre lost one of his pure bred cows Monday.

Dr. Currie went to Rice Lake last week to attend a meeting of the Wis. Veterinary Medical Association.

The Equity will hold their regular meeting at Volk's Hall Saturday evening, July 30 at 8 o'clock. Albert Peterson, Secretary.

Forest Varney and family of Madison are visiting at the Chas. Varney home.

Mr. Emma Neuenfeldt, Miss Anna Neuenfeldt and Mrs. Edward Kisten and daughter of Marshfield were over Sunday visitors here at the Wm. Neuenfeldt home.

Ralph Meek and family of Rib Lake were over Sunday visitors here.

Emil Drummond of Minneapolis visited at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Drummond, yesterday.

Mrs. Jos. Merkel is spending the week with relatives and friends at Marshfield.

Miss Agnes Rink of Mineral Point was a guest of Miss Margaret Scherer last week.

The Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. Harley Gates Friday.

P.W. Gullord autoed to Madison Monday for a few days visit with relatives and friends.

Dale Varney and family and Mrs. N.J. Carter were over Sunday visitors at Hayward.

Mrs. L. Arbs spent the day at Marshfield Tuesday.

There will be a dance at Theo Meinholdt's Saturday, July 30. Everyone is welcome. Good music is furnished.

The local R.N.A. entertained the Loyal R.N.A. at a picnic dinner at the dam last evening. Over 200 were present.

Miss Margaret Scherer was a Neillsville visitor Saturday.

Miss Arlene Krackenberger of Dorchester is visiting at the Geo. Haeuser home.

Mrs. J. Volk and daughter Dorothy are visiting at the Alonzo Volk home at Allen, Wis.

P.C. Johnson, who has been ill for a number of days, is improving.

Mrs. Alvin Bushman and two children of Milwaukee are visiting at the John Hoffman home.

Dr. J.H. Brooks of Neillsville called at the Stoller home Saturday.

Mrs. E.C. Jones of Minneapolis spent the forepart of the week at the Loos home.

Geo. Quast of Milwaukee arrived here Monday for a visit at the home of his brother, Jos. Quast.

John Wuethrich has purchased what is known as the Jack Huntzicker farm south of Greenwood. The farm was occupied by Fred Rosenau and family for many years.
