Miss Maude Winterer, who is employed at Augusta, came home for a few days visit.

Mr. and Mrs. W. Surface spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. D.L. Dare.

Frances Kile and Bernard Elmendorf were married at Thorp last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Beckman and family, Myrtle Miller and Winnie Taylor, took dinner at the Winterer home Sunday.

Miss Esther Shoemaker of Augusta is visiting friends and relatives in this vicinity.

Berry pickers are quite plentiful in this vicinity. There seem to be more pickers than berries.

Dr. Ross and Mr. Gillingham of Richland Co. were callers in this neighborhood Monday.

Bernard Winterer, who has been employed near Thorp, came home Sunday.

Bert Morrison has been doing road work.

Frank Shoemaker and Guy Belden have been helping E.L. Vanderhoef.

The Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. Kile Thursday.

Bird and Mrs. Cole spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. H. Dittner.
