Louie Webber was seen on our road one day last week.
Several auto loads of berry pickers passed through here last week, but found the
berries scarce.
Orville Dimler went to North Dakota last week to work in the harvest fields.
The Watkins man of Greenwood was calling in our neighborhood last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Lou Dimler attended the auction near Willard Saturday.
Mr. Halle and son Fred are busy taking care of their crops on the Cole place,
which they have rented.
Miss Matilda Merlak arrived Saturday from Chicago for a visit with her parents.
Miss Sophie Waseca called on Mrs. Lou Dimler and Mrs. Susa Friday evening.
Martha McKenna of Greenwood is visiting her sister, Mrs. Fred Halle.
Rosa Schirmer called on Mrs. Dimler Sunday afternoon.
George Schirmer lost a good cow Sunday morning. Dr. Currie was called out, but
there seemed to be no help for her.
