There will be English services at the Ev. Lutheran Trinity Church next Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. Rev. H. Laabs will conduct the services.

Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Maua of Milwaukee were over Sunday visitors here at the Otto Behrens home.

Mrs. A.C. Buker and son spent the latter part of the week with relatives at Loyal.

Mrs. Wm. Jacques and children of Neillsville are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. McCormick.

Chas. Afkend, Gunder Eide and Alfred Roum left Tuesday by auto for a trip through the southern part of the state.

All F.R.A. members are request to be present at the next meeting, Wednesday evening, Oct. 5th, 1921, for the annual election of officers.

The Reformed Aid meets with Mrs. Emma Loos Thursday, Oct. 6th.

Joe Merkel and family, Paul Borham and family and Geo. Haeuser and family autoed to Chippewa Falls Sunday, where they spent the day.

We were informed that Mrs. Rose VanVoorhis and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Clermont, formerly of this city, have purchased a restaurant business at 8 East 26th St., Minneapolis. They invite their Wisconsin friends to look them up when in the Twin Cities.

The Janesville Settlement School has been close on account of diphtheria in that vicinity. Some members of the Davey family are quite sick with it.

Oscar Macknick returned from North Dakota last week.

Mrs. Milligan of Loyal will entertain the Ladies Aid of Rutger Chapel on Oct. 6th.

Miss Irene O'Connell of Marshfield is visiting at the home of her sister, Mrs. Wm. Neuenfeldt.

The Kings Daughters will meet with mrs. Otto Behrens Wednesday, Oct. 5th.

Martin Afkend and family returned from a trip through the southern part of the state last week.

Mr. and Mr. P. Blum and children and Mr. and Mrs. Scherr autoed up from Marshfield Sunday for a visit at the Merkel and Warner home.

The Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. Louie Brown Friday p.m.

Mrs. Vaughan of Olympia, Wash. spent last week here at the home of Erastus Bowen. Mrs. Vaughan is on her way to North Caroline.

Dr. J.C. Baker and Mrs. L. St. Clair of Hawkins spent part of last week here at the Dr. K.W. Baker home.

The German Ladies Aid of the West Side will meet with Mrs. John Schwarze at Greenwood, Wednesday, Oct. 5th.

Leach Bros. have installed a new American Meat Slicing Machine at the City Market. The machines is made to slice prepared meats of all kinds and is a great improvement at the market.

Russell Masters and family returned from their trip to Dakota last Friday. They had been gone over a month.

Two spring claves strayed onto my farm about Aug. 20 and are still there. Owner can have same by proving property and paying for this ad. John Verschay, Willard.
