Funeral services for Reinhold Prange, 85, Abbotsford, who died November 2, were
held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford.
The Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated at the services during which Mrs. Elmer
Jensen sang “Rock of Ages” and “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere”. Mrs. Rueben Mantik
was organist and accompanist.
The pallbearers for the interment which was made in the town of Holton cemetery
were H. J. Amacher, Alvin Jacobi, Bill Kalepp, Edgar Koehler, Howard Kramer and
Fred Meske.
Reinhold Prange was born March 18, 1881, in the town of Holton, Marathon county,
and lived and farmed in this area except for 20 years when he was at Ogilvie,
Minn.
His marriage to Marie Yohr took place in 1914 in the town of Holton. Mrs. Prange
preceded her husband in death.
The past five years he resided at the Havenet Nursing Home at Owen where his
death occurred at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John Moore, Mishawaka, Ind.; two sisters,
Mrs. Charles (Eva) Baumgart, Fifield, and Mrs. Minnie Daellenbach, Sire, and two
brothers, Chris of Owen and Herman of Mendovi, S. Dak.
A daughter preceded him in death in infancy.
Among the close relatives and friends who came for the funeral were Mrs. Minnie
Daellenbach and Dan Wilcox, Siren, Mrs. Charles Baumgart, Fifield, Chris Prange
of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Pronchinske and sons, Shawano, Frank and arry
Schultz, Marshfield, Gust Hintz, Mrs. Della Leahy, Abbotsford, Miss Pat Leahy,
Menomonie, and Leo Leahy, Medford.
