O’Brien, William H. (5 April - 20 January 1973)

Funeral services for William H. O’Brien, 90, of New Richmond and formerly of the Neillsville area, who died January 20, were held January 24, from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Clark of the United Church of Christ officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Carl Thoma, Otto Dux, Jerry O’Brien, Larry Marshall, Devere Sischo, and Eugene O’Brien. “In the Garden” and “Whispering Hope” were sung by Cheri and Linda Diers. Linda Diers was the organist.

Those from out of town who attended the services included Mr. and Mrs. Harold O’Brien, Eagle River; Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Sischo, Springfield, Ore.; Mr. and Mrs. Clair Marshall, Mrs. Marie O’Brien and Mrs. Dana O’Brien and family, Minneapolis, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Marshall and family, Onalaska; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry O’Brien, Niagara; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene O’Brien and family, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nettleton, Hixton; Glen Krejci, La Crosse; and Mrs. Clarence Holt and Donald and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Duda, Greenwood.
