Barbara Volovsek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Volovsek was married last week
in Racine to Robert Kirchenberg. They came to visit her parents. Saturday night
relatives, friends and neighbors gathered at the Volovsek home for dinner and to
bring gifts for the newlyweds.
Mr. and Mrs. Sylvian Krultz spent a brief vacation in the Bahamas. They returned
last Monday.
The following were dinner guests last Sunday at the Edward Bayuk home: John
Bayuk, Milwaukee; Christ Bayuk of La Crosse; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jordan and
Sheila, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Nauertz and son, Neillsville; and Mr. and Mrs.
William Bayuk and family. The occasion was Teresa Bayuk’s birthday. The cake was
made and decorated by her mother.
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Plautz and Andrea of Minneapolis, Minn., were dinner guests
last Sunday of the Steve Plautz family. They spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs.
Roger Djubenski and family, Mrs. Mary Snedic, Mrs. Anna Horvat and Paul Snedic.
Mr. and Mrs. Duane Session and family of Marathon spent the weekend with the
Frank Pozega, Sr. family.
Mrs. Eva Hallowell has returned to Camarilla, Calif., after spending some time
with her mother Mrs. Anna Herrick.
Henry Dill of Evanston, Ill., spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Matkovich.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hawley of Milwaukee spent the weekend with Mr. Anna Herrick.
Dinner guests Friday night of Mrs. Lydia Dill were Mrs. Emma Kuester and
Loretta, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kuester of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. and Mrs. Leon
Kuester, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Toburen, Henry Dill, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Luther of
Merrill, Gilbert Dill and Gottlieb of Milwaukee.
Wayne Reuter visited his mother, Mrs. Ella Reuter, in Belvidere, Ill. She is a
surgical patient.
At the card party last Sunday at the parish center, 10 tables were played.
Prizes were won by Mrs. Donna Gosar and Ronald Volovsek.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Govek visited last weekend at the Joe Govek and Joe Yeray
homes in Sheboygan. In West Bend they called on Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Lesar and in
Milwaukee they visited Mr. and Mrs. Tony Govek and helped Tony celebrate his
birthday.
Denise Larson of Greenwood was a guest one day of Sarah Craig.
