Wisnewski, Arthur "Art" W. (26 AUG 1931 - 7 SEP 2014)
Arthur "Art" W. Wisnewski, 83, Edgar died Sunday, September 7, 2014 at North
Central Health Care Center, Wausau.
He was born August 26, 1931 in Poniatowski, son of the late John and Josephine (Nowacki)
Wisnewski. On February 7, 1959 he married Bernice Spychalla at St. Hyacinth
Catholic Church, Antigo. She preceded him in death on June 1, 2010.
Art was a dairy/entrepreneur farmer in the town of Rib Falls for over 50 years.
Some of his favorite pastimes included fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, playing
Bingo and cards and watching the Green Bay Packers, especially his favorite
player, Bart Starr. Art along with his wife Bernice were the financial Trustee's
for Holy Family Catholic Church for many years.
Art proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War
earning two bronze stars for Bravery and Honesty to his country. He was also
proud to be a Disabled American Veteran.
Survivors include his two children, Lisa Wisnewski and Art Wisnewski, both of
Edgar, two siblings, Elmer (Barbara) Wisnewski, Rhinelander and Joanne (Durand)
Boser, Texas and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by an infant daughter,
Carolyn, his siblings Richard, Robert, Mark, David, Jerry and Leona.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Holy
Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. The Rev. Robert Streveler will preside.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at
the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar is in charge of arrangements.

The family wishes to thank everyone at Aspirus Wausau Hospital and North Central
Health Care Center for the outstanding care they shared with Art during his stay
with them and a special thank you goes out to all the friends around Art's farm
who were there for him over the past few years.
