Mech, Vicki Ann (Engagement - 1973)

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon T. Mech of Greenwood announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Vicki Ann Mech, to Glenn Curtis Fields, III, son of Mrs. Glenn C. Fields, Jr., of Pittsburg, Pa., and the late Glenn D. Fields, Jr. An October candlelight wedding on the campus of St. Marys’ College and the University-Notre Dame is planned.

Miss Mech was graduated from Greenwood High School in 1968 and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business from St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Ind., in December 1971. Currently she is employed as an admissions counselor and head resident counselor at St. Mary’s College. In August Miss Mech will graduate with honors with a Master of Science degree in college student personnel from Indiana University, Bloomington.

Her fiancé graduated from Shaler High School in 1964 and received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Edinboro State College, Edinboro, Pa. While in college, Fields was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon and president of the Student Pennsylvania State Educational association. In August he will receive his Master of Science degree in college student personnel from Indiana University, Bloomington. Currently he is employed by the North Allegheny School system in Pittsburgh.
