Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Halloway and daughter and son-in-law arrived Monday from Dalton for a few days visit with their daughter and sister, Mrs. Nellie Loveland.

Maud Merrill spent a few days last week with relatives at Loyal.

A number of neighbors gathered at the Arp home Friday evening and reminded Mrs. Arp of her birthday. She was very surprised. They took blocks for a quilt and many other tokens of love. We are sure Mrs. Arp will remember her surprise for many long days.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter spent Tuesday evening at Sinclair's .

Mr. and Mrs. Vern Severson and Leroy Stabnow spent Tuesday evening with the young people at the R. Walter home.

Stella Jolivette spent Saturday and Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Lex Dusso, south of Greenwood.

Mrs. Mary Scovel left Friday for Waseca, Minn. To visit and elderly sister.

Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Stabnow and little daughters visited at the Stringham home Sunday.

Mrs. Aug. Acker of Greenwood visited at the home of her son Walter last week.

Margaret Richelieu spent a few days last week with her sister, Mrs. W. Acker.

The Aid will meet with Mrs. Myrtle Barrett Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair and family, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Creg and family spent Sunday at the R. Walter home.

Rev. and Mrs. Bickell and daughter Vivian took supper at the Aug. Stabnow home Wednesday evening.

Mrs. Ed Acker and Kurt Acker are on the sick list.

The Northern District Convention of the Sunday Schools will be at Withee on Oct. 12th. A good program has been planned. Bring a basket dinner and come spend the day with us.
