Hebert, Lyman (1 May 1898 - 6 February 1973)
Funeral services were held Friday morning from the Gilbertson Funeral Home,
Granton, for a former Town of Lynn man, Lyman Hebert, 74, of Auburndale, who
died there February 6, at the home of a sister, Mrs. Loretta Schmolke. The Rev.
Robert Houston of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Chili, officiated and burial
was made in the Lynn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Marlyn Peterson, Tim Digoski, Henry Dahlke, Emil Ballard, Jack
Donnegan and Victor Schier.
Mr. Hebert was born May 1, 1898, in the Town of Lynn, was educated there and
lived on a farm until moving to Auburndale. His marriage to the former Marsha
McCann took place March 21, 1960, in Neillsville.
Survivors in addition to his wife, include two brothers, Elliott Hebert of
Neillsville and John Hebert of Washington D. C.; and six sisters, Mrs. Loretta
Schmolke and Mrs. Elva Markee of Auburndale, Mrs. Julia Thomas of Berwyn, Ill.,
Mrs. Bernice Peterson of Wheaton, Ill., Mrs. Walter Digoski of Neillsville and
Mrs. Jack Donnegan of Pittsville.
