Larson, Viola Evelyn (2 July 1929 - 3 September 2014)

Viola Larson, 85, of Hudson, formerly of Neillsville and Beloit, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at her residence.

Viola Evelyn Bryan was born July 2, 1929, in Neillsville, the daughter of George and Leona (Broihier) Bryan. She was united in marriage to Vernon F. Larson Nov. 18, 1950, in Alma Center. They lived in Beloit for many years. After retiring, they moved to Neillsville. Shortly after Vernon’s death in 2010, Vi moved by her son in Hudson.

Vi will always be remembered as a loving, kind-hearted woman who loved spending time with her granddaughters.

She is survived by a son, Stack (Lori) Larson of Hudson; two granddaughters, Lacey Larson and Lilly Larson; and many brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Daniel; and her parents.

A graveside service for Viola was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept 6, at Dells Dam Cemetery in Levis Township, Clark County. Pastor Douglas Bjerke officiated.
