Christ Lutheran Church (Ladies Aid - 1973)

The Ladies Aid society of Christ Lutheran Church sponsored a bake sale table at the chili supper served by the Walther league Saturday. Plans for the project were completed at the group’s monthly meeting held last Friday afternoon. Mrs. Fred Lewin was hostess.

The meeting opened with a hymn followed by Scripture reading and prayer by the Rev. Roland Roehrs. Rev. Roehrs also showed a film, “Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven,” and led the topic, “The Word as Scripture.”

The business meeting was conducted by Mrs. Marvin menger. All reports were accepted as read.

“Happy Birthday” was sung in honor of six members with February birthdays. They included Mrs. Elmer Steffen, Mrs. Carsten Lovstad, Mrs. Oscar Bartsch, Mrs. Leo Roehl, (and other names we have missed.)
