U.C.G.O. (Meets - 1973)
The U.C.G.O. group met Thursday evening, February 22, at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Lavern Meissner. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Dix, Jr., were lesson leaders.
The film committee reported that a movie had been tentatively selected and that
it would be investigated further before being ordered. Plans are to show the
film in a centrally located school. A report on the Valentine’s party was given
and a thank you note was read from the King’s couples club. Members were asked
to think of persons in their congregations who would like to receive club
mailings.
The group is sending a fruit basket to the Rev. Frank Mutchler of the Loyal Free
Methodist Church, who was injured in a recent auto accident.
The next meeting will be held March 22 at 9 p.m. at the Irwin Rusch home. The
later starting time is necessitated by Mid-week Lenten services. Mr. and Mrs.
Darryl Booth of Marshfield will be the lesson leaders.
