Hello There! Meet me at the Opera House Thanksgiving Eve for the big dance.

There will be a basketball game at the H.S. Gym next Friday evening between the high school and city teams.

H. Johnson went to Chicago yesterday where he will spend Thanksgiving at the home of his son Benny.

The State Equity Convention will be held at Eau Claire from Nov. 29 to Dec. 3, inclusive.

The Wesley Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. Ivan Barnes Thursday p.m., Dec. 1. All men are requested to be present.

The reformed Aid will meet with Mrs. Fred Braun Thursday, Dec. 1st.

Conductor F. B. Richmond of Stevens Point, formerly of this city, is running on the Greenwood-Nekoosa branch in place of Conductor Ed Hoyes, who is on a deer hunt.

The Dorcas Sewing Circle will meet with Miss Mae Afkend Saturday, Nov. 26 at 11 a.m. Lunch will be at noon. All members please attend and bring in all articles finished.

Carrie Strommen, Art Iverson and family and A. Dahl and family were entertained at the tom Erickson home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. S.A. Hobson and daughter left for their home at Chicago last Thursday, after a month's visit at the Tom Thomas home on route five.

The International Livestock Exposition will be held at the Union Stockyards, Chicago, Nov. 26 to Dec. 3. As usual, a number from Greenwood are planning to take it in.

The Wis. Women's Progressive Association met at the home of Mrs. John Emberson Friday evening. A large crowd was in attendance. Two new members joined the association.

Mrs. J.J. Jones returned to her home here last Saturday, after a two week visit with friends at Owen, Endeavor and Dalton.

Jack Moberg left Tuesday for Harvey, N.D., where he has accepted a position as manual training and athletic instructor in the high school of that city.

Mrs. T.C. Parr is visiting relatives and friends at Eau Claire.

Miss Elsie Barr of Wausau is visiting here at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Barr.

A family traveling in three covered rigs on their way from Iowa to Price County, passed through our city yesterday. They have been on the road for several weeks. It is a slow way to travel, but they seemed contented.
