Mr. Barrett called at Aug. Stabnow's Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Stabnow and daughters called at Paul Acker's Sunday to see the
new boy.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Ray Vogel at Kennan, Nov. 15, 1921, a baby boy.
Mr. and Mrs. Vern Severson spent Sunday with Mrs. Edith Severson.
Stella Himes is staying at the Paul Acker home caring for the new boy born Nov.
15th.
Many local hunters returned with no deer.
The Aid will meet with Mrs. R. Walter Thursday afternoon, Thanksgiving Day.
Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Worden came up from Adams Co. and have rented what is known
as the old Lloyd farm. Mrs. Worden will be remembered as Neva Sinclair.
Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair, Mr. and Mrs. R. Walter spent Saturday at Greenwood. Mr.
and Mrs. Loveland and daughter Gladys left for Pardeeville Tuesday.
About 25 neighbors and friends gathered at the Aug. Stabnow home Tuesday. The
occasion was Mrs. Stabnow's birthday. The cake, baked by Mrs. R. Walter, was a
beauty and oh so good! We won't tell just how many candles were on it, but it
was certainly the prettiest and best cake imaginable. Mrs. Stabnow was presented
with many useful and beautiful gifts, and all left wishing her many happy
returns.
The missionary program will be given at the church immediately after Sunday
School. All are invited.
