Schroeder, Richard A. (10 SEP 1950 – 22 SEP 2014)
Richard A. Schroeder, age 64, of Neillsville, WI died on Monday, September 22,
2014 at the Neillsville Care and Rehab Center.
Richard Allen Schroeder was born on September 10, 1950 in Marshfield, WI the son
of Henry and Gladys (Haffner) Schroeder. He was a graduate of Marshfield High
School. He started farming at Seehafer Acres while in High School and worked
there until his health failed and he retired. In May of 1975 he was united in
marriage to Barbara Hauck. They later divorced. Richard loved playing cards,
spending time with his family and watching the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Allen Barton) Hogan of Neillsville
and Tina Schroeder of Eau Claire, 5 Grandchildren, Austin, Bobby, Cole, Kimberly
and Autumn, a Great Grandson, Robert, siblings, Linda Stini, Joyce Krause both
of Marshfield, Delmar (Sharon) Schroeder of Junction City, WI, Elaine Schroder
and Allen Schroeder both also of Marshfield.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert, an infant
sister, Charlotte and a Brother-in-law, Jerry.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 25, 2014 at
the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor Douglas Bjerke will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday morning at the
Gesche Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield.
Serving as casket bearers will be Austin, Bobby and Cole Hogan, Mike, Timmy and
Danny Schroeder.
