Mrs. Robert Dolan and children left last Thursday for their home in Grand
Coulee, Sask., Canada, after visiting here for the past two months with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Seibold, on route 2.
The Rod & Gun Club will meet next Wednesday evening, March 1st. All members are
requested to be present.
C.H. Clute returned from Eau Claire last Friday, where he had been to attend a
real estate dealers convention.
The city basketball team were defeated at Loyal last Thursday evening by a 20 to
15 score. Loyal is expected in in the near future for a return game.
Mrs. Harry Palms of Loyal spent the latter part of last week here at the home of
her sister, Mrs. A.C. Buker.
Leland Sheets started for Sheboygan, Mich. Yesterday where he will visit his
sister, Mrs. J. C. Englebretson and family for several weeks.
Miss Elsie Barr went to Marshfield yesterday.
A.C. Buker went to Minneapolis Saturday on business.
Notices have been sent out by John Huntzicker of the Food Products Co. for the
annual meeting of the stockholders. The meeting will be held March 6th.
J. Aberg of route four left for Vernon County Monday on a combined pleasure and
business trip.
Miss Irene O'Connell of Marshfield is visiting here at the home of her sister,
Mrs. Wm. Neuenfeldt.
Adolph Meyer returned from Sheboygan last Saturday, where he had been called to
attend a funeral of a relatives.
Yesterday being Washington's birthday, the baks of the city were closed all day.
The post office and school were also closed, and the mail carriers had a day
off. The post office was open only from 12:30 until 2 o'clock p.m.
Last Thursday a sleigh laod of people from Trondheim Center came in and
surprised Mrs. Walter Hubble, the occasion being her birthday. The evening was
spent in playing games, after which a delicious lunch was served. The crowd left
at a late hour, wishing Mrs. Hubble many more happy birthdays.
Mrs. L.E. Reese entertained a few ladies in honor of her mother, Mrs. W.R.
Kelly, to a six o'clock dinner and theatre party last Sunday evening.
The Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. H.F. Stabnow Feb. 24.
According to reports a large crowd will turn out for the masquerade ball at the
Opera House Friday evening, Feb. 24th.
Mr. and Mrs. George Schofield departed Monday morning for Randolph, N.Y., where
they will spend six week with their daughter, Mrs. Richard Einfeldt. (Spencer

Mrs. I.E. Dixon of Spokane, Wash. arrived here Tuesday for an extended visit at
the home of her sister, Mrs. Louis Weber on route five. Mrs. Dixon was recently
married and was formerly Miss Martha Waseca.
