White Philip (84th Birthday – 22 NOV 1932)
The eighty-fourth birthday of Mr. Philip White was celebrated in an informal way
Sunday, Nov. 20, 1932, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert White at their farm
home southeast of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.(. About forty were present,
including the following children and grandchildren: Mr. and Mrs. James White and
children, Mrs. Alice Poulton and children, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert White and
children, Mr. and Mrs. James Colby and children, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Swieso and
children. The following sons and daughters were unable to be present: Mrs. Ida
Harlow, Medford; Mrs. N. Rogers of Wibeaux, Mont., Will and Ave White of Spokane
and Frank of Chattaroy, Wash.
Mr. Whtie was born in Belleville, Toronto, Canada, Nov. 22, 1848. In the year
1878, 54 years ago, he came with his family to Clark County and has been a
resident here since that time. Mrs. White passed away 14 years ago and since
that time he has made his home with his son Herbert.
Mr. White enjoys good health and it is the wish of his many friends that he
celebrates many more birthday anniversaries.
