Robert E. Elkins, editor, publisher - partner of the Thorp Courier, suffered a
severe heart attack on Wednesday afternoon, April 5th about 3:45 p.m. while
helping put out the Thorp Courier.
He was taken to Victory Memorial Hospital by Thorp Ambulance, where he is
responding to treatment.
We are happy to report that Bob is up and getting along and can receive visitors
now.
