Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Herman and Mrs. Bertha Dudansky were at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stigen on Sunday.

Mrs. Sophie Stszczynski returned from Chicago Saturday, after spending a week with her son and daughter there. She also attended the funeral of her cousin.

Mrs. Victoria Wilcenski of Gilman, Mrs. Bertha Dudansky and Mrs. Stanley Herman were shopping in Eau Claire on Sunday.

Mr. Ben Gilbertson, on his return trip from Clermont, Florida, spent Saturday with his son, Glen Gilbertson and family.

Mr. and Mrs. William Jacque and daughter Kim, Mrs. Eunice Jacque and Mrs. Hazel Huls spent Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Larson in Stanley.

Mrs. Ben Burkhardt attended an Executive Board Meeting of the Clark County Extension Homemakers on Saturday afternoon at Greenwood.

Mr. and Mrs. John Dulek of River Grove, Ill. Spent the weekend with Mrs. Verna Slupski.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kaczmarczyk attended a christening at the Stanley Kaczmarczyk home in Lublin on Sunday.

Mrs. Walter Bohn and Miss Laverne Fenstermacher were visitors on Wednesday afternoon at William Launspach's, and also visited Mrs. Bishof at the rest home in Gilman, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. L. Jacobson spent the weekend in Thorp, after bringing their mother, Mrs. Sophie Stszczynski, back from Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. John Klouda and daughters of La Crosse spent the weekend in thorp at the William Klouida and Louis Badzinski home.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bohn visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kaz in Owen Friday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Felix Zasacki spent the weekend at Madison visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Lon Mortensen and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Decker of Milwaukee visited Mrs. Hollis Decker and Darrell Sunday.

Joe Hribar and Walter Bohn attended the Coin Show at Eau Claire Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Dulek and Mrs. Verna Slupski visited on Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Burss.

Mrs. Stanley Urbas of Chippewa visited Mrs. Charles Ramberg on Monday.

Pvt Jeff Anderson of Fort Riley, Kansas, spent the weekend at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hanford D. Anderson. His grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis St. Angelo of Frederic, Wis., also spent the weekend in Thorp Mrs. St. Angelo is spending the remainder of the week here.

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Pawlak, Nancy and Don, motored to Bensenville, Ill. And spent one day visiting with Mr. and Mrs. John Szczygiel and family, then all leaving to Madison on Sunday for the baptism of little Tami Kay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lon Mortensen.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Schultze of Boznan, Mont. and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Schultze of Stanley spent Monday at the W.E. Vanderhyden home.

Mrs. Louis St. Angelo of Frederic, Wis., and her daughter, Mrs. Hanford Anderson, visited with Mrs. Raymond Munson of Withee on Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Frank Pawlak and her sister, Mrs. Felix Mroz, left to Milwaukee to spend a few days with their brother, Stanley Zuzelski, also with some nieces, then leave to Las Vergas, Nevada to visit their sister, Elsie Telford, and from there they are traveling to South Gate, Calif., Los Angeles, Calif., and Whittier, Calif. Mrs. Frank Pawlak stayed with her brother and sister-in-law for 9 months, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zuzelski.

Mrs. William Wojcik and family of Rome, N.Y. are visiting at the Ted Schultze home in Stanley and will be staying at the W.E. Vanderhyden home in Thorp.

Mrs. Joseph Benzschawel and Mrs. Ben Burkhardt attended a meeting in Greenwood of special interest on color in art, home furnishings, etc., an interesting demonstration and lecture on creative stitchery in art was given by Mrs. Robert May of Medford.
