Kozlowski, John (1 JAN 1883 – 22 MAR 1967)
Services were conducted March 25 at St. Hedwig's Chapel in Thorp for John
Kozlowski, 84, a retired Owen businessman, who died March 22, 1967 at Family
Heritage Nursing Home in Wis. Rapids, where he had been a patient since Dec. 14.
Burial was made in St. Hedwig's Cemetery.
Mr. Kozlowski was born Jan. 1, 1883 in Poland. His marriage to Catherine
Swienton, who preceded him in death in 1957, took place at Thorp.
While in Owen, Mr. Kozlowski operated a dry goods store, and then moved to
Gilman before going to Wis. Rapids.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Stanley Molepske, Wis. Rapids; Mrs. Melville
Meach and Mrs. Ambrose Persick, both of Milwaukee; a son, William B. Koslo,
Brookfield; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
