A weather balloon was recovered on the Harry Kahon property Sunday morning. The Kahon's returned the equipment to Joliet, Ill. The balloon had been sent out from St. Cloud, Minn.

Mr. Joe Wojdyla and sister Helen visited with their sister, Mrs. Schmidt of Thorp, who is hospitalized at the Marshfield hospital.

Mrs. Walter Lewandowski is a patient at the Chippewa Falls hospital.

Mr. Julius Zwolinski, a patient at the Marshfield hospital, will be moved to the Vets hospital at Madison as soon as his condition permits.

A pigeon show as held at the Sciezor's Tavern last Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lencz and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Lencz spent last Sunday afternoon at Eau Claire visiting with Father Emillen Glocar. They also attended the coin show at the Hotel Eau Claire.
