Schroeder, Richard Allen (10 September 1950 - 22 September 2014)
Richard A. Schroeder, 64, of Neillsville died Monday, Sept. 22, 1014, at the
Neillsville Care and Rehab Center.
Richard Allen Schroeder was born Sept 10, 1950, in Marshfield, the son of Henry
and Gladys (Haffner) Schroeder. He was a graduate of Marshfield High School. He
started farming at Seehafer Acres while in high school and worked there until
his health failed and he retired. In May of 1975, he was united in marriage to
Barbara Hauck. They later divorced. Richard loved playing cards, spending time
with his family and watching the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Allen Barten) Hogan of Neillsville
and Tina Schroeder of Eau Claire; five grandchildren Austin, Bobby, Cole,
Kimberly and Autumn; siblings, Linda Stini, Joyce Schroeder, both of Marshfield,
Delmar (Sharon) Schroeder of Junction City, Elaine Schroeder and Allen
Schroeder, both also of Marshfield.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert; and infant
sister, Charlotte; and a brother-in-law, Jerry.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Gesche
Funeral Home in Neillsville, with visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Pastor
Douglas Bjerke will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in
Marshfield.
Serving as casketbearers will be Austin, Bobby and Cole Hogan, Mike Timmy and
Danny Schroeder.
