April 15th of this year meant that pert brown-eyed, brown haired 5' 2" Louise Sobol was eighteen! This goal was finally reached! Wearing her favorite outfit of green and gold, she danced at Mile-A-Way for a few hours and then sped off on a motor cycle to scout out some fun or trouble!

On the way she stopped at the Thorpedo and ate a chicken dinner, finishing with cherry pie. A few dimes in the jukebox played her favorite songs, "I Can't Seem to Make You Mine," "Baby, I Need Your Lovin" and of course "Louie, Louie." She sang along with the last one, harmonizing well, since she's had a lot of musical background. Louie has been in Triple Trio, Madrigal Singers, Chorus and Mass Chorus. When she isn't singing, you'll find her at Thorpette practice, G.A.A., games intramurals, Pep Club meetings, or behind stage with the Jr. and Sr. Class plays.

Time was running out on that big 18th night, so she screamed "Mother!!!!!!" and rode off. Before leaving, she gave this advice to underclassmen: "Work hard, but have fun."

One waitress reported that she heard Louise telling of plans to go on to school and perhaps join the Peace Rorps or travel, In any event, she doesn't want to meet any people who like to express themselves in a big way, but come out short all around.
